Licensure and Admissions
Tracey focuses her practice on commercial litigation and employment law. She has handled matters
involving shareholder disputes, corporate dissolutions, breach of fiduciary duty claims against
corporate officers, contract disputes as well as disputes over commercial property. She counsels
clients on a wide range of employment issues, including employment agreements, restrictive
covenants, separation agreements and discrimination and other wrongful termination claims.
Tracey regularly appears in state and federal court on a variety of litigation matters. She has also represented clients in investigations and hearings before the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Labor and other state and local administrative agencies. She also regularly represents clients in connection with violations of city code ordinances. Tracey has achieved success for her clients by way of summary disposition, arbitration and mediation. She has been involved in all phases of litigation from inception through appeal.
Tracey graduated from Illinois State University, cum laude, in 1995 and obtained her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1998.
